TERMS & CONDITIONS

Welcome to Sheepdog Brewing, where the beer is cold, the staff are your buds, and the dogs are (mostly) well-behaved. Before you dive into a pint, here are the official rules of Sheepdog — our Terms and Conditions. By visiting our brewery, using our website, or attending our events, you agree to these terms.

1. AGE REQUIREMENTS

Canmore Location: No age restrictions—everyone is welcome! Bring your kids, bring your grandma, bring your dog.
Banff Location: You must be 18+ to enter, in accordance with Alberta liquor laws.

2. RESPONSIBLE DRINKING

We love a good time, but if you’ve had too many pints, our team will have to cut you off. Our staff reserves the right to refuse service if needed. We want you to have fun but also get home safely.

3. DOGS ARE WELCOME

Dogs are allowed 7 days a week from May Long Weekend to Thanksgiving. From Thanksgiving to May Long Weekend, dogs are only allowed Friday to Sunday (weekends).
Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome on the main floor of our Canmore location.
Dogs are NOT allowed upstairs or in the Banff location.
If your dog is aggressive, disruptive, or stealing pretzels, we will ask you to take them outside.

4. NO ONLINE PURCHASES

At this time, we don’t sell beer or merchandise online—so come visit us in person for the full Sheepdog experience!

5. EVENT BOOKINGS & PRIVATE PARTIES

Private events require a deposit to secure your spot. If you cancel at the last minute, we keep the deposit—fair’s fair.
We’re happy to host your event, but let’s keep things respectful (no table dancing unless explicitly approved).

6. LIABILITY STUFF

Sheepdog Brewing is a place for fun and community, but we’re not responsible for injuries, lost items, or questionable life choices made after a night of pints. Please drink responsibly, look after your belongings, and don’t climb anything you shouldn’t.

7. WEBSITE USE

Don’t steal our content or images—just ask if you want to use something.
Don’t hack our site or do anything shady. We don’t have time for that nonsense.
If we mess up on pricing or event details, we reserve the right to fix it without notice.

8. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We might tweak these terms now and then. If we make big changes, we’ll update this page. Keep an eye on it—or just trust that we’ll keep things fair.

SHEEPDOG BREWING SPONSORSHIP GUIDELINES

At Sheepdog Brewing, we love supporting our community, but we also get a ton of sponsorship requests! While we’d love to say yes to everyone, we have to be selective to make sure our support aligns with our values and makes the biggest impact.

WHO WE SUPPORT

We prioritize sponsorships that align with our brand and community focus, including:

First Responders & Mental Health Initiatives – Supporting those who serve and protect our community.
Events in the Bow Valley – Local festivals, fundraisers, and community-driven events.
Sports & Outdoor Activities – Especially mountain biking, skiing, and other adventure sports that fit our ‘From Trails to Taps’ vibe.

WHAT WE OFFER

Sponsorship can come in different forms, including:

Beer donations or discounts for events
Merchandise and swag
Financial contributions (limited and based on impact)
Event hosting at Sheepdog Brewing

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

We love working with groups that:

Have a strong connection to the Bow Valley community
Promote a positive impact on mental health, first responders, or outdoor sports
Are passionate about working with local businesses
Can show how our sponsorship will make a meaningful difference

HOW TO APPLY

If you think your event or initiative aligns with Sheepdog Brewing, please fill out our sponsorship request form below. The more details, the better!

SUBMISSION & REVIEW PROCESS

Applications must be submitted at least 4 weeks before the event.
We review requests on a monthly basis and will reach out if we can support your initiative.
Due to high demand, we can’t respond to every request—if you don’t hear from us, it means we’re unable to participate this time, but we encourage you to apply again in the future!
