To the moon-lemon sorbet sour
Tangy lemon, creamy vanilla, smooth milk sugar, and just enough tartness to keep things dangerously refreshing. Think lemon sorbet met a sour beer and decided to spend the summer together.
Loaded with lemon peel and hopped with Dolcita + Lemondrop for subtle notes of custard, coconut, and pineapple, this one lands somewhere between dessert and patio crusher.
Honestly, if spring had a flavour, this might be it.

MEET THE PACK
Sheepdog Brewing opened its doors in June 2019, but the idea was brewing long before that. Back in 2017, Josh and Allan started shaping the vision. With backgrounds in firefighting, law enforcement, and military service, they wanted the brewery to embody the same camaraderie, dedication, and unwavering spirit they carry in their service.
So, why Sheepdog? It’s a nod to the first responder and military community. A symbol of those who stand guard, ready to protect and serve. Just like a sheepdog watches over the flock, we take care of our own through great beer, good company, and a welcoming space where everyone feels at home.
BRING YOUR PUPS!
At Sheepdog Brewing in Canmore & Banff, we believe that great beer, great company, and great dogs go hand-in-hand. Our main floor taproom and patio are 100% dog-friendly, so your four-legged drinking buddy is always welcome. In Cochrane, regulations won't allow your pups inside, but they are welcome on the patio.
We’ve got water bowls, belly rubs, and treats ready to go, because pups deserve a little something special, too! Whether you’re relaxing in our laid-back, garage-style taproom or enjoying the mountain air on the patio, your dog is part of the Sheepdog crew.

COZY VIBES WITH FRIENDS
Sheepdog Brewing BANFF opened in May 2025, with a fresh adult-only space and a partnership with Aardvark Pizza. Enjoy a cold pint and a fresh pizza after any adventure.
Banff’s legendary trails are a playground for riders, from Tunnel Mountain to the Legacy Trail. After your ride, head to Sheepdog Brewing Banff for a cold pint.

We’re expanding! Sheepdog Brewing COCHRANE will be opening summer of 2026. This location is close to 10 000 sq ft, featuring a production facility and a family friendly taproom. Your pups will be welcome on the patio and this location features a partnership with Pete's Za Co.
